Reilly doubt for Meath
MEATH captain Kevin Reilly is a fresh injury worry for the Royals ahead of their Leinster SFC final with Dublin on Sunday week.
Reilly (above), who kept Bernard Brogan to a point in last year's provincial decider, suffered a knee injury in Meath's Leinster semi-final win over Kildare and hasn't trained fully since.
Manager Mick O'Dowd explained that he expected Reilly to resume Leinster final preparations this weekend.
Until then, the influential full-back is on the 'doubtful' list alongside the hamstrung Mickey Newman and Bryan McMahon, who suffered a concussion against Killdare, although O'Dowd said he was hopeful all three would be available
"I suppose you know when you see how he's moving how big a risk it is," said O'Dowd of Reilly. "But he's a lot of work done throughout the year and a lot of work done over the last three weeks even when he was injured.
"We'll monitor it and make a decision based on what we're seeing this weekend and next week."
