Innisfails cemented their midtable position as they overcame a youthful Fingal Ravens by 1-16 to 2-10 in their high-quality Dublin Adult Football League Division 5 encounter at Balgriffin last Sunday morning.

The decisive score arrived from Glen Staunton with the hosts indebted to James Bowe, Alan Knott, Ian Yeates and midfelder Raymond Boyne as they registered their third league win of the campaign.

Elsewhere, both Cuala and Kilmacud Crokes reaffirmed their promotion credentials with home wins over Ballinteer St John's and Erin's Isle respectively.

In AFL6, Naomh Fionnbarra pulled away in the closing stages to account for a depleted O'Toole's outfit by 2-15 to 2-11 at Blunden Drive.

Dillon Curley and Bradley Owens netted for the visitors, who also enjoyed strong displays from midfielder Seán McDonald, goalkeeper Seán Carey, centre-back Richie Reilly and full-back Dane Russell as they took the points home to Cabra.

There was another away win in Islandbridge as St Maur's proved far too strong for a weakened Civil Service, prevailing by 1-17 to 1-2.

Colm Lawlor and Stephen Carthy were the pick of the away attack, sharing ten points over the hour, benefiting from the solid platform provided at centrefield by Robbie Kelly and Ciaran Devine.

Seamus Harford and Pádraig Butterly ensured that the Maur's defence kept things tight at the back and substitute Jamie Farrell confirmed the win with a late goal for the Rush outfit.

St Maur's remain a point behind league leaders Templeogue Synge Street, who enjoyed a hard-earned 2-10 to 2-9 success over Fingallians at Dolphin Park.

The remaining fixtures saw Skerries Harps eke out a narrow 1-9 to 1-8 victory over Whitehall Colmcille in Cloghran while St Jude's had eight points to spare over Castleknock at Tymon Park.
