McMorrow's out for Dubs
NIALL McMorow has been ruled out of Dublin's Leinster SHC opener with Galway on May 31 with a broken thumb, writes Conor McKeon.
The Ballyboden player had, by the end of Dublin's League campaign, established himself in Ger Cunningham's preferred midfield pairing alongside Johnny McCaffrey after a number of strong performances.
McMorrow came on as a substitute in Parnell Park as Dublin beat Galway to secure their spot in the League play-offs and remained there for both the victory over Limerick in the quarter-final and the loss to Cork in the semis in Nowlan Park.
Ross O'Carroll is also out of that match after opting off the panel.
Cunningham suggested that O'Carroll had prioritised Kilmacud Crokes' Dublin football championship clash with Ballyboden on June 6th over the Galway match in Croke Park next Sunday week.
