DUBLIN lead the way in terms of provincial titles secured at under-21 level with last year's success being their 11th success since the championship's introduction back in 1964.

Dublin, who opted out of the competition for a few years in the early 1980s, will be hoping to complete their first back-to-back Leinster title since Jim Gavin managed the Dubs to successive wins in 2009 and 2010.

Dublin have contested 17 finals in total with their last defeat in a provincial decider arriving back in 2004 when they succumbed to the Lilies by 1-10 to 0-12.

Their opponents on Thursday will draw level with the Dubs if they win in Navan with their last title garnered back in 2013 when they defeated a talented Longford outfit by 1-12 to 0-12.

In total, eight counties have lifted The Flood Cup with Laois the inaugural winners 51 years ago following their 1-8 to 0-8 success over local rivals Offaly.
