BORD GáIS ENERGY LADIES NFL DIV 1

Kildare v Dublin (Ballykelly, Tomorrow, 2.0)

TOMORROW, the Jackies will be back on the motorway. They hope it will eventually be the Highway to Heaven.

They won Division 2 of the League in some comfort last season. Now they are back among the big girls.

"Division 1 is where we want to be. That's where you'll meet all the best teams. The All-Ireland champions will come from Division 1," remarks new Dublin manager, Peter Clarke.

Peter has installed Gemma Fay as captain. The brilliant Boden back has been an inspirational figure for club and county over the years.

The Blues have been busy fine-tuning with challenge matches. And they have been working up a sweat on the training ground.

They'll hope to hit the ground running against the Lilywhites, who also have a new pilot in the cockpit, Joe O'Donoghue.

Kildare will have to cope for the season without the considerable talents of Brianne Leahy, Noelle Earley, Tracy Noone and Tricia Delahunt.

Both teams will go the extra yard to impress their new boss.

The 2010 All-Ireland champs coming to town will add a few bob to the gate.

This will be no Sunday picnic.
