THE prince of Dublin full-backs, Dermot Deasy, had the whistle at Drumnigh last night. Sylvester's had their work done before the 8 o'clock news, and their ticket booked for round three of the Dublin SFC. with a comprehensive 3-19 to 0-4 victory.
O'Toole's led twice inside the opening nine minutes. David Mooney, also put in an honest shift. He was rewarded with their only point from play, 21 minutes into the second half.
By that stage, the Malahide men were in total control. At half-time they led 2-7 to 0-2 following goals from Darren Clarke (21 minutes) and Conor Daly (26 minutes).
Straight from the throw-in to the second period, Daly found the top right-hand corner at the pavilion end as Syls advanced at their ease.
