Corcoran on Africa mission
DUBLIN and Kilmacud Crokes hurler Niall Corcoran is travelling to Ethiopia next Sunday.
He's helping out the charity Playing for Life, which was formed by RTé's Tracy Piggott in 2005.
Niall will be part of a crew that plans to build a sports facility, work on farms, do some coaching and play a hurling/karsa match against the local side.
"I hope to raise ¤2,500 before I fly out, so I would be very grateful for any donation at all," states the defender.
The Playing for Life charity provides funding for educational and sporting facilities, using local people with the long term aim of employment and self sufficiency.
