1ST PEREGRINE'S have come up with a New Year's Day Bonanza. The package includes shopping, hurling, football, grub and entertainment. Where would you get it -- the Blakestown Road on January 1, that's where. Dublin Bus will be running a shuttle service from the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre car park to the ground and back again.
1 "We want to thank Mark Kelly of Dublin Bus for all his help," says St Peregrine's chairman, Tom Kitt. This presents people with the chance to do a little pre-match shopping or indeed hit the shops following the games.
1It's also an opportunity to keep all the family happy -- one half could go shopping and the other half could head to see the hurling and football, and all could meet up after.
1Sounds like a masterplan. And Peregrine's will also be serving top quality food in their home, while there will also be music on offer. So whatever decision you make, there will be plenty of bargains to be had on and off the pitch come New Year's Day.
1The Blanch' Centre could have the sale of the century, while down the road there will be plenty of Dubs anxious to do their own bit of window shopping as Dalo and JG set out their stalls.
