St Vincent's succumbed to their first defeat of the year when losing to Ballyboden St Enda's by 5-19 to 2-16 in their wonderful Dublin Minor Hurling League Division 1 encounter at Sancta Maria last Sunday morning.
Michael Boland was in inspirational form for the winners, amassing a telling 4-4 from full-forward with his two goals against the breeze in the first-half helping to settle the hosts.
With all of their front eight scoring from play, St Enda's continued to control matters through Cillian Byrne, Cian Murray, Neil Hestor, Darragh Byrne, Sean McDonald with Aidan Mellett also chipping in with 1-3 for Boden.
The visitors struggled for the most part with the efforts of Johnny Walsh, Sean Collins and 1-7 from Conor Burke proving in vain.

The visitors shone defensively through JJ Nolan, Daniel Phillips, Dylan Feeney and Mark Hayes with Eric Casey, Sean Rossiter and Keith Cooling doing the damage in attack for Craobh.
Meanwhile, at St Mobhi Road, current holders Na Fianna picked up their fourth league win from five games as they defeated Fingallians by 0-15 to 0-8.
