Denis Bastick says Dublin's recent All-Ireland winning experience can work in their favour on Sunday when they meet Mayo in Croke Park for a spot in the final.

"You have doubts and until you get over that final hurdle they are always s going to be in your mind," he explained. "It's a great place we are in right now.

"We have got the experience of winning. We have done it twice in recent years and we will use that the next day."

Bastick also dismissed the notion that Mayo's history of failure to land an All-Ireland title would provide them with any motivational edge on Sunday.

"If you come out to our training sessions, you'll see the hunger that we have there.

"They haven't won it in so many years and there's a lot of talk about their hunger and their curse and what not.

"But these guys in our camp are hungry for success and a win as well."
