Dublin Féile Festival boosted by AIG sponsorship
THE Fab Féile is coming to town - 1,200 players are getting ready to party.
AIG are sponsoring the event. It's on next Saturday and Sunday.
There will be seven venues. 54 teams, representing 43 clubs, will be in action.
Foxrock Cabinteely took the Dublin Crystal last year. They went on to claim All-Ireland gold.
They beat Galway's Kilkerrin/Clonberne by four points in the All-Ireland final.
This season's Dublin champs will also, no doubt, be in the national mix.
The Division 1 trophy honours the memory of Emma Jones.
The county chairman, Joe Keane, is looking forward to a weekend wonderland."Feile serves up so many special memories for all," says Joe.
"It is an opportunity for us to showcase further the magnificent festival that is Feile and I would like to thank AIG most sincerely for their sponsorship."
Declan O'Rourke, AIG General Manager, added: "AIG is committed to supporting sport at grassroots level through our sponsorship and we are delighted to be involved with the Dublin Feile.
"When we became the sponsors of Gaelic games in Dublin, we were committed to both the men's and ladies codes. This is another sign of that ongoing commitment."
