Brian O'Driscoll's jibe at US TV host Conan O'Brien after he's 'named' in Ireland team
Irish rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll couldn't resist tweeting one of America's most popular television hosts following Ireland's team announcement for their latest World Cup warm-up match.
The second-best team in the world according to the latest world rankings continue their World Cup preparations this weekend when they take on Scotland at the Aviva and head coach Joe Schmidt has handed Jack Conan his first international cap for Saturday's encounter.
The 23-year-old Leinster back-row lined out for the Wolfhounds in January but wasn't involved in the subsequent Six Nations as he continued his breakout year with the province.
With Sean O'Brien also back in the green jersey, Ireland's record try scorer couldn't resist sending tweet to the 52-year-old comedian and television host after reading the headline of the Ireland team announcement which read: 'Conan, O'Brien in Ireland team to face Scotland'.
"A man of many talents that @ConanOBrien," he posted on his account.
The popular American has 17.6m followers on Twitter, but has yet to respond to the rugby hero.
