Balotelli faces ban
MANCHESTER CITY's volatile star Mario Balotelli is facing a four-match ban from the English FA after stamping on Tottenham's Scott Parker.
Spurs are furious that the Italian striker wasn't punished for the incident towards the end of yesterday's 3-2 win over the London side, especially as City's winning goal came from a penalty won and scored by Balotelli.
"What reason did he have to backheel Scott in the head with his studs? It's got no place in football that's for sure," said an outraged Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
The FA will assess the report of referee Howard Webb before taking action but the incident is clearly caught on camera and Balotelli, who has been sent off three times in his City career, is likely to get a four-game ban, which could hurt City's title bid at a crucial stage.
