MAGIC weekend for the club, and this week's Heroes of the Week award goes to our U15s, who came from 7 behind to beat Jude's by 16 with a magnificent team effort, and the lads sporting their new jerseys sponsored by Drumgoole Construction. Well done lads, and take a bow, you're the heroes of this week. Be in the gym at 7pm on Tuesday. To get the award this week is quite an achievement, as all our adult teams won well in the league. Added to our U16s fine win over Na Fianna (best players were Proudy, Ryan Kelly, Sergei and Ryan Graydon). Our U9 and U11 girls teams also had great games in their first matches of the season and our U14 boys also playing superbly against Raheny (best players: Darragh Brennan, Evan Purcell and Jamie Devereaux). To cap it all off, the weekend was completed by the Dublin minor team winning the Leinster League with a win over Kildare and its huge 'Mun contingent, in particular Evan Comerford, Conor Kavanagh, Aaron Elliot and Dillon Keating, who were influential in the result.
