Education cuts
THEY say you should judge a country's morality by how it treats its children, its sick and its elderly. If that's the case, this country is immoral.
I find it sickening that we should make the weakest among us pay for the excesses of the past decade and the mismanagement of our funds by Government and banking institutions.
Classroom sizes were already barely manageable when the Celtic Tiger was at its height. The sick were already lining hospital halls and the elderly on a pitiful pension. And all the while Fás bigwigs were paying hundreds for hairdos. And the Government stands by them. Morality? Ha!
