Why we'd love to go on the X Factor

OUR manager Louis Walsh isn't able to make our gig tonight as he's over in Miami this week, but he has been so good to us. He came down to watch us at our Olympia concert and he gave us loads of advice.

Every time we meet, he has something new to tell us, which is understandable given how long he's been in the business.

Louis (inset) tells us that he wants us to go out there and wow everyone and doesn't want any one aspect of our performance to be lacking.

He's going to be busy working on the new series of the X Factor as well but has made sure he's always available if we need him for advice. Our band member Cian actually tried out for the X Factor in 2012 at the auditions over in England and he got quite far in the competition.

He got as far as boot camp, so he did well and it was a great experience, but that was it for him - he didn't go any further.

He says now that he's glad he didn't get through to the live finals as he probably wasn't ready, but now he feels the time is right.

We'd obviously love to perform on the X Factor one day, that's every musician's dream, but we don't know if we're quite ready for it yet - maybe next year when we've a little more experience under our belts.
