55pc struggling to pay their household bills
CREDIT union customers in Ireland report their disposable income remains under pressure and 55pc are struggling to pay household bills on time.
A total of 70pc feel the amount they have left over each month after paying essential bills has fallen during the past year, according to the 2011 What's Left income tracker.
And 31pc of those interviewed said that they would give up their private health insurance if there was a further increase.
The Irish League of Credit Unions has launched a free My BudgetBuddy, an easy-to-use personal money management smart phone app. It allows people to keep track of what they are spending and helps them make maximum use of their income.
