TV3 star thriving despite 'three major stressors'

television

TV3 presenter Peter O'Riordan knows all about "the three major stressors".

Xpose's only male star said the move home had created some unexpected tensions for him and his wife - not least when it comes to our "soft weather".

The chatty presenter has told how his Hawaiian-born wife Steph naturally misses the sun as she adjusts to the inclement Irish weather.

"It's been fantastic, but I would be lying to you if I said it wasn't tough," he told the Diary.

"Obviously, we did three of the major stressors - I changed jobs, we had a baby and I moved. All in one.

"My wife is from Hawaii and lived in LA, so sunshine is the key for her.

FANTASTIC

"Unfortunately, we're not blessed with it in this country. Everything's been fantastic as far as help - but if we could just get a roof over the country ..."

Striking beauty Steph moved from the States at the end of last summer, bringing with her the couple's now one-year-old son, Ollie.

While the wet and windy Irish weather hasn't been at all to her liking, Peter said Steph had settled into our way of life and was getting ready to launch her own skin-care range called Live and Love.

"She's been working diligently launching a skin-care brand for mother and baby and is hoping to launch it this spring," he said.

"It's completely organic, so that's what we have been working on very intensively for some time."

Vogue can't wait to judge

Fashion-forward star Vogue Williams will soon be dispensing some gems of wisdom to aspiring fashion students.

The reality star and top model has once again been added to the celebrity judging panel of the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture competition.

She will join Louis Walsh, stylist Rob Condon and Tracey Fahey as they put their heads together to choose an overall winner of the recycled fashion competition.

With the final in the 3Arena on April 14, Vogue said she was delighted to get involved in the competition.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing this year's creations," she said.
