Top model turned food blogger Roz would love her own cooking show

Top model turned foodie, Roz Purcell would love her own cooking show, the Diary can reveal.

The Tipperary beauty (24) has been cooking up a storm on her blog, Natural Born Feeder, and now she wants to take her passion for food to our television screens.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to carry on with it into the future and turn it into a TV show or something like that - it's definitely something I'm working towards," she revealed.

Healthy

Roz has already made appearances with her healthy recipes on TV3's Xpose, but says she wouldn't say no to a stand-alone show.

"Who wouldn't love to have their own baking show on TV, especially if you're someone like me and you love creating new recipes and getting people into the kitchen."

And while food is her passion, the brunette beauty wants to learn more about nutrition before taking her blog further.

"For me it started because it was something I was passionate about so it's not an effort," she said.

"I'm not making any money from the blog and that's the way I want to keep it. I still want to learn lots about food and nutrition," she added.

"If I have friends over for dinner, I always like to make sure that everything is quite healthy, I love proving to people that healthy food can taste absolutely delicious," the former Miss Universe Ireland said.

Her other half is Voice of Ireland coach Bressie (left), but Roz says she likes to keep him out of the kitchen.

Therapy

"I cook and bake every single day. I kind of feel like it's almost a therapy for me because if I don't get to cook or bake, I'm like crazy," she revealed.

"My boyfriend knows not to come into the kitchen when I'm cooking, so he doesn't help me cook," she added.

But Bressie does give her some inspiration for her recipes every once in a while.

"A lot of the time my inspiration comes from my sister or my boyfriend saying 'I would love to have a healthy version of Ferrero Rocher' or something like that.

"A lot of it is dares as well, people often say to me, 'I bet you can't make a healthy version of that' but I try to think outside the box and see what hasn't been done before."
