Ten drug arrests at Glastonbury

Police arrested 10 people for drug offences and thefts from tents in Glastonbury, a spokesman said.

Police have been seen walking around the festival site offering crime prevention advice and taking the occasional selfie with campers.

Some officers are on horseback and bikes in order to navigate the 1,000-acre site.

Meanwhile Glastonbury has announced another guest appearance at the famous festival - the Dalai Lama.

The exiled Tibetan spiritual leader will visit the event on Sunday.

Organiser Emily Eavis said: "We're honoured to welcome the Dalai Lama."
