The Game

Sharks going the rampage, the secret world of Tinder and the Game continues to be played - some of the highlights from tonight's TV

BBC1, 9pm

In the second episode of this documentary series, a sequence shows a gathering of great whites gets up particularly close and personal. We learn in the making-of segment at the end how it was achieved: sharks have body language and if you know the signs, you can tell when they're cheesed off. If a great white shows you the tips of its fins, back away.

We're also reminded that however much we instinctively fear them, it should really be the other way round: humans now kill 100 million sharks a year.

Red Rock
TV3, 8.30pm

In last night's cliff-hanger, we saw Rachel collapse from a drug and booze overdose as she pleaded for Brian to come and save her.
In a further dramatic turn of events tonight, it looks like Brian's true colours are about to finally be brought to light and his manipulating ways exposed once and for all….or are they?

The Secret World of Tinder
Channel 4, 10pm

The Secret World of Tinder

This documentary on dating through social media offers a warning: never has "quality over quantity" been more appropriate.
As the daters here attest, using an app like Tinder - which finds other users nearby - often means withstanding a barrage of explicit, barely legible pick-up lines, especially for women.
Anyone who doesn't open a conversation with "U r hot" seems to be marriage material in comparison.

The Good Wife
More 4, 9pm

Julianna Margulies in The Good Wife

Alicia's political future is placed in jeopardy when Peter gives an interview that may well influence voter turnout on election day, and Diane seeks a prosperous new client.
It's a thrilling episode that flits between Alicia (Julianna Margulies) at home, playing a violent video game to ease the tension, and liberal-to-her-bones Diane up in the snowy Wyoming mountains trying to be nice to her straight-up husband's Republican pals during a shooting party.

The Game
BBC2, 9pm

The Cold War drama continues as Arkady reveals the name of a sleeper agent with lethal connections in the US military, but the team needs to find out what her mission entails.

With her access to American bases, this new contact may be ready to undertake a terrifying attack, but as Operation Glass continues to take surprising turns, Joe Lambe (Tom Hughes, right) and Jim are left wondering whether they can really trust anyone. Meanwhile, Bobby spots a chance to rescue his bachelor reputation.
