She wed her long-term love in May, but now Georgia Salpa has officially taken her husband Joe Penna's name.

The Dublin model (30) married the millionaire businessman in a lavish Italian ceremony earlier this summer and now it seems she's ready to be Mrs Penna.

The half-Greek beauty changed her name on all her social media accounts to Georgia Penna.

However, the former Big Brother star is still listed under her maiden name on the modelling portfolio at her agency, Andrea Roche Models.

Georgia and Joe tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony in the Italian coastal town of Porto- fino.

Despite being a big fan of social media, the reality star and her hedge fund manager other half imposed a strict ban on their guests from sharing pictures of their big day online.

Since their wedding, the Marbella-based couple have travelled through the US and Central America for their honeymoon, enjoying a city break in San Diego before relaxing on secluded beaches in Mexico.

Fresh from her travels, Georgia returned to Irish shores at the weekend to catch up with some of her model friends.

The Killiney woman met with model-turned-broadcaster Daniella Moyles and fellow Andrea Roche beauty Emily MacKeogh for an evening in trendy Dublin hotel The Dean.

They were joined by former Fade Street star Louise Johnston, who is rumoured to be in a relationship with British chart-topper Ed Sheeran.

"The Dublin Annual Bitching Conference is in session," the new Mrs Penna joked as she shared a picture of the group on her Instagram account.

Georgia isn't the only Irish celebrity opting to take their husband's name despite their own fame.

Broadcaster Mairead Farrell changed her name to Mairead Ronan after marrying Tipperary businessman Louis Ronan last month.

"I'm going to change it. I can't be two people," Mairead said on the Ian Dempsey Show before her wedding.

The Saturdays singer Una Foden also dropped her maiden name after she wed Ben Foden.
