Smoking is bad for your acne
Smoking not only causes wrinkles - it can worsen the effects of acne, scientists have found.
Scarring associated with the spotty condition is more severe in smokers.
Dr Raman Bhutani, a member of the research team from Harrogate said: "The correlation seen between smoking and severity of facial scarring could suggest that smoking can increase the severity of scarring in a susceptible person with acne."
The findings provide another reason for people to quit tobacco, say experts.
