Sarah swaps honeymoon for work as she flies to UK for busy catwalk season

Top model Sarah Morrissey is delighted to be teaming up with the designer who made her wedding dreams come true.

Irish designer Peter O'Brien created the Dublin model's stunning long-sleeved chiffon dress for her wedding (inset) to her footballer beau Pat Jennings, of St Patrick's Athletic, in Buggiano, Italy in June.

"Peter is showing his Autumn/Winter Collection in Arnotts next week and so I'm delighted to be teaming up with him again," Sarah told the Diary.

"We're very good friends but it's always nice to get to work with him and be in his shows as well," she added.

The blonde beauty has had such a busy summer that she still hasn't planned her honeymoon.

"Summer is supposed to be your downtime as a model but I haven't had a minute," she said.

"We won't be able to go until Pat's season is finished and I'm so busy at the moment as well that we still haven't had a chance to plan anything.

"I don't know where we'll head off to yet but we definitely want to go somewhere sunny," she said.

The leggy beauty also admitted that she's in no rush to start a family as she wants to enjoy married life for a while.

"We have no plans yet but maybe in a year or two. It feels like we're only married a minute," she said. "I absolutely want kids because I'm from a big family myself, but I want to enjoy being married for at least a few months," she said.

"I'm not sure how many I'll end up having though, I could be put off after the first," she joked.

Travel

Sarah (30), who modelled at the launch of Harvey Nichols Autumn Winter collections at the Dundrum Town Centre this week, has a busy few weeks ahead as she's in huge demand in the UK.

"I start working in the UK from next week so I'm going to be really busy.

"I'll be working in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester," she said.

"I'm really busy at home too because it's catwalk season so there's a show almost everyday.

"I'll probably try to fly over and back to the UK in a day where possible so that I can do shows here as well," she added.

The Assets Models stunner is signed to Models 1 in London and Superior Model Management in Scotland and says she loves working abroad.

"I love travelling for work but it does get a bit tiring by the end of fashion month.

"I like going over to my agency in London and touching base with them."
