Samantha shares snap of baby Sage

About town

Samantha Mumba is head over heels in love with her "lucky charm" - newborn baby Sage.

The Gotta Tell You singer shared an adorable snap of her beautiful daughter, aged just two weeks and wearing a green bandana and bib.

The Dubliner said that she marked St Patrick's Day with her "lucky little charm" and noted that Sage was the "best baby in the world".

Samantha (32) took to Twitter to share her and her husband Torray Scales' happy news last week.

Assuring fans that everything is "absolutely perfect" with the newborn, she added: "Very happy to share that our beautiful daughter Sage arrived safe, sound and absolutely perfect on March 3".

Fit

The 31-year-old made sure to keep in shape while she was expecting and constantly visited the gym - something she recently said helped her through the pregnancy.

"I truly believe working out contributed to me not having a lot of the usual pregnancy symptoms like leg cramps, headaches, varicose veins, back pain and swelling," she said.

"I've also been able to stay within the healthy range of weight gain and I have loads more energy."

Play for the Missing

Ode to Marianne - Missing Women in Ireland is returning to the stage for a one-off performance tomorrow.

The play is written by Elizabeth Tutty and was penned in memory of the 22 women who have disappeared without trace here.

Dublin City Council is supporting tomorrow night's performance at St James's Hall so entrance is free, and the play starts at 7pm.

Tubridy visits the USA

Ryan Tubridy took a few days off to jet over to Washington for the St Patrick's Day celebrations.

The political junkie was lucky enough to meet Barack Obama while visiting the White House with Stephanie Roche.

He'll be jetting home to be back in time for this week's Late Late Show when he'll be chatting to actor Russel Crowe.
