Rory's 'glad' Nadia is OK after 'scary' crash
Golf ace Rory McIlroy has said he's "glad" model Nadia Forde is okay after a terrifying car smash.
Nadia was involved in an accident on a motorway in England on Sunday, when the car she was travelling in flipped over six times.
McIlroy, who is in the UK at the moment ahead of the British Open, said that he was glad the model was unhurt and that everything was fine now.
"Obviously, if anyone's in a car crash you're glad to see that they're okay," said McIlroy.
"It was a pretty scary incident but everything's good," he added.
Nadia (25) was taken to hospital after the crash as a precaution but is understood not to have been hurt.
She was driving her Fiat 500 Abarth sports car to Manchester when she lost control of the car, which skidded due to bad weather.
"It was terrifying for her - she got a massive shock. She's lucky to be alive," said a friend of the model.
"The car just skidded as it was raining really badly and Nadia braked to try to control it and it spun out of control, flipping over.
"The car's a total write-off," she added.
