Reveller sleeping in car attacked

A TEENAGER is recovering after he was dragged from his car and beaten in a shocking early morning attack.

The incident happened as the 19-year-old slept in his car, beside the Quary House pub in Finglas, after going to a party on Thursday night.

At around 6.30am two men approached the black, 2007-registered Opel Astra car and attacked the victim, who is from Kinsealy, north Dublin.

It is understood that the men struck him a number of times, before dragging him out of the car and making away with the vehicle. He suffered minor injuries in the attack and was left traumatised by the ordeal.

Earlier in the night, the victim had been at an apartment above the pub, celebrating a birthday party with friends.

The group later went into the city centre at around 11pm on Thursday night before heading back to the apartment.

The victim, went to sleep in his car at around 4am before the attack.
