SUPERMARKET chain SuperValu has invested €8m in a new store in the Dublin commuter belt. The store in Celbridge, Co Kildare, was officially opened yesterday.

Brothers and local businessmen, Steven, Michael and Joe Nally (pictured right), have set up the venture, which is set to create 70 new jobs.

The shop, located in the St Wolstan's Shopping Centre on the Dublin Road, measures 15,000 square feet.

Customers have been offered an online shopping and home-delivery service.

A full off-licence instore will also offer a wide range of world wines, beers and spirits.
