Princess puts up assets for bail
Spain's Princess Cristina has presented a list of assets that will be blocked to cover her €2.7m bail fee while she awaits trial on tax fraud charges.
A court in Palma de Mallorca said the princess also sought a reduction in the bail amount. None of the blocked property will be seized but the princess will not be able to sell any of it. Cristina, the 49-year-old sister of King Felipe, was indicted as part of a probe into her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, who faces charges including money-laundering and fraud.
