Prices are up slightly in March
Consumer prices rose slightly in March but were lower than the same period last year, official figures show.
The consumer price index (CPI) was 0.6pc higher in March than in February, the same rate of price growth as the previous month. But, prices were 0.6pc lower than in March 2014, the Central Statistics Office said.
The CPI weighs the prices of 632 goods and services, from the price of milk to bundles phone deals to get a picture of the cost of living.
