Plane crash blame game helps no one
THE true extent of the horror of the Malaysian Airlines crash has been laid bare in very gruesome detail.
Images of soldiers picking through the rubble to retrieve teddy bears, passports and holiday clothes are utterly heartbreaking.
The crash site near the Russian border with Ukraine is strewn with the 295 bodies and officials are slowly identifying the victims.
Investigators are now trying to piece together clues and build a picture of what exactly happened to the doomed MH17 flight in Ukrainian airspace.
The families of the victims may take some solace from the fact that the passengers and crew most likely had no idea what was happening when the plane was suddenly shot from the sky.
They died quickly and now rest in peace.
Both Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists have been pointing the finger of blame at each other.
But someone has to be held to account for this unspeakable tragedy.
