PENNEYS has unveiled the final phase of a major refit of its flagship store on Mary Street.
The store, which opened as Penneys' first shop in 1969, has been undergoing a major refurbishment.
The new-look store, which employs 540 people, has taken on a further 110 for the Christmas period.
The Mary Street shop has been revamped to combine contemporary design with original features from the building, including ornate glass domes that were previously covered and are now a key feature of the store.
Penneys has 254 stores in Ireland and plans further expansion in the UK and the Netherlands.
