Painting a bright future

INDEPENDENT painting and decorating firm Pat McDonnell has created 10 new jobs in Dublin.

The company has opened its first store in the capital and will be based in Nutgrove Shopping Centre.

Pat McDonnell Paints currently has six outlets in five counties employing 80 people.

Director Aidan McDonnell said: "The business has changed radically over the past number of years with an increasing concentration on the domestic market, while the professional trade market has also become more focused on quality private work."
