My hats will be stocked in Arnotts next week

I flew home from Cheltenham yesterday after an exciting few days and I'm looking forward to celebrating at home this weekend.

Another reason I have to celebrate is that my hats are going to be stocked in Arnotts from next week, which is brilliant news for my business.

It's so exciting to be stocked in the biggest department store in the country.

My hats have been in boutiques across the country, but this is the first big stockist.

I was abroad on holidays at Christmas when they emailed me to set up a meeting. I've been busy working on that order since the start of the year, and before I left for Cheltenham I dropped in about 40 hats to them.

I'm so excited to hear what the customers think of them.

Next week I'll be up in Dublin to chat to the sales assistants about the materials, how clients can wear them and explain all the different styles.

I studied at the Grafton Academy and I've been working as a milliner for two years so it's all very exciting.

This year at the Jameson Dublin Film International Festival there will be a number of behind-the-scenes events alongside all the celeb-filled screenings.

Tomorrow at 2pm in Wolfe Tone Square there will be a free event called Scene on the Square that will allow the public to see the behind the scenes of shooting a film.

Spectators are invited to see what goes into a scene with the video live-streamed on to a large screen, and hear about the various roles and responsibilities of crew.Oh what a feeling...

Revellers were treated to quite the show from Lionel Richie at the 3Arena on Wednesday night. He supped Guinness on stage and treated the crowd to all his classic hits including Dancing on the Ceiling and All Night Long.
