Lord Mayor Oisin Quinn greeted guests as they arrived at the Irish Life canteen in their offices on Abbey Street, which had been taken over for the evening.
More than 40 volunteers from the Club helped the Irish Life canteen staff, who had offered their services free of charge for the party.
Dublin Lions Club president Maura Sheerin described the event as a "very heart-warming experience".
"Its a fantastic space which Irish Life have given us and our guests include all age groups and all nationalities."
She explained that the annual party, which was first held in the 1950s, was originally for homeless people but over the years had grown to include other groups "anyone who is vulnerable or old and lonely and would like a night out".
The doors opened at 6pm and the Lord Mayor moved through the guests to meet and greet all those attending.
After the meal Mundy took centre stage while the guests enjoyed a traditional after dinner pint of Guinness.
Every guest received a goodie bag on their way home from the party with toiletries and nutritional drinks and food.
