Mueller for Malaysia

Outgoing Aer Lingus boss Christoph Mueller has been reportedly asked to run ailing Malaysian Airlines - the carrier that this year saw one of its aircraft mysteriously disappear and another shot down over Ukraine.

A move to Malaysia Airlines would mark the beginning of a massive challenge for the German-born aviation executive, who joined Aer Lingus as chief executive in 2009.
