Mr Ireland Karl joins comedian Katherine Lynch in new play
He's hoping to make a name for himself on the small screen, but Karl Bowe is going to be treading the boards for the next few months.
The model and actor has joined the cast of the hilarious new comedy You Don't Bring Me Flowers.
The play follows the ups and downs of family life and is packed with gags and songs like I'm in the Mood for Dancing and I Will Survive.
"I've done panto and other small productions, but this is my first proper play," Karl told the Diary.
The new production will be touring with comedian Katherine Lynch, former Fair City star Seamus Moran and Karen Ardiff, who appears in Saoirse Ronan's new flick Brooklyn.
"I play a painter and decorator called Zach who has an affair with Katherine's sister in the play, so it's great fun," said former Mr Ireland Karl (right).
The Crumlin native is currently based in London and is hoping to nab a role in top soap Hollyoaks.
"I'm down to the last five and I should hear soon if I got the part," he said.
