Luas services suspended due to power failure
Luas services have been suspended this morning due to a power failure on the line.
The Green Line route between St Stephen's Green and Brides Glen is currently not in operation.
Officials say Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus this morning.
Yesterday evening, thousands of commuters were left frustrated as lightning hit the Luas line in the capital at rush hour.
A spokesperson for Transdev said that lightening struck the system in the Milltown area shortly before 5pm.
The green line - from Brides Glen to St Stephens Green - was also affected.
A spokesperson for the Luas confirmed that services resumed at approximately 7pm.
