Love/Hate star loved 'great vibes' on Sing Street set
Former Love/Hate star Peter Campion is set to appear on the silver screen in two of the biggest Irish productions this year.
The Offaly native stars in Brooklyn, which is based on the book of the same name by Colm Tobin, and Sing Street which is directed by John Carney.
Brooklyn also stars fellow Irish actors Saoirse Ronan and Domhnall Gleeson.
"I have a small part in it. I play the husband of Saoirse's best friend in the movie," he told the Diary.
Sing Street is due out next year and stars Aidan Gillen and Jack Reynor.
"I play the not-so-nice boyfriend in Sing Street. I wear a crazy afro mullet. I didn't have many scenes with Aidan but Jack was good craic," Peter said.
"There was a great vibe on set because all the main characters were young guys all full of life so we were having the absolute craic.
"That's kind of infectious when you're on set with those kinds of guys. It was brilliant," Peter added.
Peter is currently starring the in The Pillowman at the Gaiety Theatre.
