Late payments leading concern
LATE payment from customers is the biggest issue facing Irish professionals, according to a new survey.
However, the report by the Irish International Business Network (IIBN) also found that confidence is rising among Irish business people.
In total, 55pc of Irish professionals across the UK and Ireland said they were slightly more confident in economic conditions for next year, while 13pc were significantly more confident.
It found that 90pc of respondents were as or more confident than they had been in the past year.
Late payment from customers was considered to be the biggest challenge facing businesses.
In total 56pc of respondents said that late payment from customers had a mild or very negative affect on their business.
"While the business climate is still challenging the findings of this report are extremely promising," Niall Fenton, chairman of the IIBN in Dublin said.
