Ladies on their marks for best dressed prize
Models Aoife Walsh and Kerrie Nicole Blanc were horsing around in their Sunday best yesterday as they promoted the Best Dressed Lady competition at this year's Punchestown festival.
Former Miss Ireland Aoife (25) stepped out with Kerri as they swapped the catwalk for stables to promote the competition, sponsored by hair extension brand Gold Fever.
The search for the most fashionable lady at the annual racing festival, which runs from April 28 to May 2, will take place over the first four days of the event.
A daily winner will be chosen each day from a selection of contestants scouted by the competition's judges with the finalists then battling it out for the Most Stylish Lady crown on Friday, May 1.
Daily winners will get €1,000 worth of Gold Fever Hair Extensions while each contestant will receive a goody bag worth €400 each.
The main event will be judged by model Georgia Salpa, with the fashionable ladies going head-to-head to win the top prize worth over €20,000.
The winner will also be flown to South Africa for one week on an all-inclusive five-star luxury trip to Makanyi Lodge Game Reserve located in the Timbavati.
Flame haired beauty Aoife Walsh recently admitted that she'd love to work on TV.
The Tipperary native revealed her broadcasting hopes after being told that she's "well suited" to television work by her friends.
"I would love to do TV or radio. I did a little cameo appearance last summer in Damo & Ivor and I absolutely loved it," she told the Herald.
"It was just a lot of fun. A lot of people actually have said to me that I'm well suited to TV so it's something that I would love to get into in the future."
However, Aoife admitted that she's busier than ever with modelling at the moment.
"My year as Miss Ireland was amazing so fingers crossed other opportunities will come along," she added.
