Jennifer Maguire: 'I won't put our baby through a reality TV show'
She previously documented her experiences when it came to wedding planning, but new mum Jennifer Maguire has told fans that she won't be filming her experience as a first-time mother.
The presenter (34), who gave birth to baby Florence last month, insisted that she will never make a documentary on motherhood as "some things are sacred".
Jen said that she and her Italian husband Lau Zamparelli are taking the same low-key approach to their big day as they are with parenthood.
"We didn't have any press at our wedding, we didn't (do a magazine deal) or anything. We didn't do any of that at our wedding because some things you just don't, but, you know, the poor child… no, I wouldn't do that (a documentary) to it," she said. "No way, some things are sacred."
The 2fm DJ revealed she is only taking 10 weeks off for maternity leave.
Jen has admitted that she's so used to working that she's finding it hard to adjust to taking time off, even to cope with her first experience of motherhood.
"I'm getting about 10 weeks off from radio and telly and writing, so that'll be good, then I'll be back on the radio after that," she told U Magazine.
"That's the longest I've ever had off, I've been like 'what am I going to do for the 10 weeks?'.
"I've never had so long off in my life because I've been self-employed since 18.
"I think the longest I've ever had off is three weeks."
However, the Republic of Telly star admitted she rarely takes time off because she loves her job.
"I probably take two weeks off a year, and not because I couldn't, but because I love what I do," she said.
