Irish produce is tops
Avonmore dairy products, Brennans bread and Denny meats are the best-selling brands in Ireland.
Irish food brands account for four of the top 10 products sold here most often, according to a study by Kantar Worldpanel.
Nearly 80pc of us buy Avonmore products 27 times a year, making it the most frequently chosen brand. Brennans is next with seven out of 10 consumers purchasing a loaf 20 times a year, while Denny meat products and soup and stock cube maker Knorr are the next most popular.
Globally, Coca Cola is the top brand but Colgate and Dove are the rising stars.
