RUGBY star Brian O’Driscoll may no longer be diving for the try line, but it seems like he’s taken up surfing in retirement.

The former Irish captain was snapped gliding over a crowd of revellers in Hong Kong where he was attending the Rugby Sevens tournament.

It was O’Driscoll’s wife Amy Huberman who made his antics public.

“You know when your husband is away in Hong Kong on a very important business trip...” she tweeted, posting the picture online.

Dad-of-two O’Driscoll (36) was in the Far East over the weekend hanging out with other former players Gavin Hastings of Scotland, former Welsh star Jonathan Davies, Geroge Gergan from Australia and ex-Fiji player Waisale Serevi.

In the end it was the Fijians who triumphed in the competition, beating New Zealand 33-19.

But Amy wasn’t sitting at home knitting this weekend while BOD was busy crowd-surfing.

Amy marked her 36th birthday with a night on the town, including dinner at Cleaver East restaurant with friends.

Well wishes poured in for the popular actress, who married O’Driscoll in 2012, as hundreds of thousands of her Twitter followers were keen to wish her a happy birthday.
