People who illegally download music spend more on official releases than those who obey download laws, a survey has suggested.
UK think-tank Demos said it found illegal downloaders spent an average of £77 (€85) a year on genuine music, £33 (€36) more than those who claim never to have wrongly accessed music for free.
Nearly two-thirds of people who admit to downloading music illegally also said that new and cheaper music services would encourage them to stop accessing illegal services.
Potter theme is wizard, say kids
THE 'Harry Potter' theme has been named the favourite orchestral tune for children.
The piece, written by John Williams, topped a poll for radio station Classic FM ahead of other movie scores such as 'Jurassic Park', 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'ET'.

A chef who featured in a scheme set up by television celebrity Jamie Oliver was part of a gang which stole millions of pounds worth of Cartier jewellery.
Tom Baisden (28), of Thundersley, Essex, south-east England, was the "inside man" as the gang staged a robbery in Southend, Essex, in May 2001 and escaped with watches, keyrings, pins, sunglasses and belts, a prosecutor told Basildon Crown Court.
Patient locked in ambulance depot
AN investigation has been launched into how a poorly pensioner was locked inside an ambulance for five hours when its driver forgot about him and clocked off duty.
The 65-year-old man was trapped inside the vehicle -- a non-emergency ambulance used for ferrying patients to appointments -- at Sharston ambulance station in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, in north-west England.
The kidney patient was locked inside from 7.15pm last Tuesday to nearly 1am the following day. The driver, who was supposed to return him to his care home from hospital , has been suspended.
Rocky Horror fans' Time Warp record
Costumed fans of the cult musical 'The Rocky Horror Show' braved the cold to smash the Guinness world record for the largest 'Time Warp' dance.
Organisers said 1,570 people took part in the record attempt on Brighton seafront on England's south coast, simultaneously pelvic thrusting their way into the record books.

A motorway service station has landed a highly respected award for its food.
The Tebay service station in Cumbria in the north of England was awarded The British Academy of Gastronomes' Grand Prix of Gastronomy. The Grand Prix is annually awarded for anyone or anything that has done most in the previous year to improve the quality of food in the UK.
