'I miss you with all of my being' - Fifi's Peaches tribute
Peaches Geldof died a year ago yesterday, and her sister Fifi shared an old photo of them together to mark the anniversary.
Peaches (25) was found dead at her Kent home last April following a heroin overdose.
"A year ago today and I miss you with all of my being," Fifi captioned the picture.
Peaches' body was found by her husband, Thomas Cohen, who now looks after their two sons Astala (3) and one-year-old Phaedra with the help of both of their families.
An inquest last July into the young mum's death heard she had started taking heroin again in February last year after taking the substitute methadone for three years.
Her husband was not aware she was back on heroin, and said he believed Peaches had beaten the habit.
Their home has remained empty ever since, and sources have revealed that the sisters' father, Bob Geldof, "cannot bear" to visit the place.
But the Boomtown Rats star (63) and his son-in-law have recently decided to "cleanse" the property.
"Their house has been untouched since Peaches was found there," an insider told Grazia.
"They loved that place, but it became like Miss Havesham's house, everything left suspended in a moment of time that no one ever wanted to return to.
"It was Peaches' dad and Thomas who made the decision to deal with it and move on. It couldn't just be left like an awful mausoleum for ever. They decided to get decorators in to clean, paint and remove what was there.
"Some things will be kept, others will just be taken away because they hold too much pain."
Meanwhile, Fifi (31) is set to marry her fiance Andrew Robertson this summer, but has vowed not to have her sister Pixie (24) as a bridesmaid out of respect for Peaches.
Dad Bob also said he'll marry his partner Jeanne in the same church in Kent where the funerals of his late wife Paula and daughter were held.
