THE entire nation seemed to be hooked on Love/Hate but one man who hasn't been tuning in is former star Aidan Gillen.
Gillen -- who played the role of Johnboy on the first two seasons of the hit crime show -- told the Herald that he has been too busy to catch any episodes.
But the actor says he is looking forward to catching up on the show over Christmas when he has some time off from his busy schedule. "I haven't seen this season yet," Aidan said.
"I've been given a number of discs so if I manage to watch them by Sunday, then I'll watch the finale along with everyone else.
"I've been away so it's not a lack of interest; I just haven't got to see it yet."
The 44-year-old actor, who played gang leader Johnboy on the show, was killed off last season and he says that the RTE series is now behind him.
"I'm not in Love/Hate any more -- it's been 15 months since I was in it."
Dublin native Gillen -- who owns a home in Kerry -- says he is looking forward to the festive season and will not be doing much. "I've been working a lot this year so I am looking forward to doing nothing," he said.
"I'm looking forward to being in Ireland and being at home," he added.
Aidan was speaking at the launch of the Simon Community's Christmas-themed House of Light projection show at the Powerscourt shopping centre in Dublin's city centre.
