DESPERATE Housewives star Eva Longoria is set to add some Hollywood sparkle to this year's Web Summit.

Proving that the three-day event is not just for tech-geeks, gorgeous Eva will jet into Dublin to address the event.

As well as being an actress, Longoria is a so-called 'angel investor'.

In addition to her huge commercial success fronting some of the world's biggest brands, the 39-year-old also owns two restaurants in the US.

Boost

Her work through her Eva Longoria Foundation has seen her work alongside the son of Wall Street legend Warren Buffett to boost Latino-owned businesses.

However, the Hollywood star is not the only one who will be on hand to add a touch of glamour to proceedings.

Supermodel Lily Cole will also be attending. The 24-year-old Cambridge grad launched a new type of social network last year where users are invited to give away 'gifts' while expecting nothing in return but a digital thank you.

The summit is already Europe's largest tech event, but this year will see additional 'satellite summits' with themes like food, music and film.

Sports will also be discussed on stage with a talk from Irish rugby star and angel investor, Jamie Heaslip.

The founder of dating app Tinder Sean Rad, Jay Bregman who founded taxi locator Hailo, and Zynga Games founder Marcus Pincus will address the event taking place in the RDS in November.
