Godfrey named as Comreg boss
Communications Minister Alex White named Jeremy Godfrey as chairman of communication watchdog ComReg.
Godfrey has been a ComReg Commissioner since 2013. He was also chief information officer in Hong Kong from 2008 to 2011 and has been a partner in PA Consulting Group, as well as working with the UK Department of Trade and Industry.
ComReg regulates the telecommunications and postal sectors and is responsible for regulating the roll-out of broadband in rural Ireland, Mr White said.
