TICKETS for this weekend's All Ireland final are like gold dust and GAA fan Frances Black is prepared to beg, borrow and sing for a place in the stands.
The Wall of Tears singer told GAA officials she would belt out the national anthem ahead of the game in order to get a coveted ticket.
But her plea to sing for her ticket has gone unanswered.
"I said I would sing before the game, sing the anthem and they said they'd put me on the list, but I've heard nothing," she said.
"Any chance you could get me a ticket?"
Celebrity Apprentice contestant Frances says growing up she idolised the Dublin team.
"My best friend Imelda and I always went to the matches when we were growing up," she added.
"But then we both got married and started going to the matches with our husbands.
"But her husband died last year, so we started going again, the two of us.
"We had been to a lot of the matches together and we can't get tickets and she's devastated."
